The FZ-VSCG211U xPAK installs on the rear expansion area of the FZ-G2 Toughbook and is able to be installed by the user after manufacturing of the computer itself. Adding Smart Card (CAC) reading functionality to the rugged tablet, the FZ-VSCG211U is for insertable card reading, if a contactless smartcard reader is required please consider Panasonic part number FZ-VRFG211M. xPAKs that install on the same expansion slot of the Toughbook are mutually exclusive but can be paired with xPAKs that install on the other expansion slots.
