Panasonic TOUGHBOOK FZ-VFP402W xPAK
The FZ-VFP402W is a palm rest expansion area xPAK for the Panasonic TOUGHBOOK 40. Mutually exclusive with other xPAKs that install on the palm rest expansion area (such as a Contactless Smart Card Reader xPAK FZ-VNF402M) the FZ-VFP402W provides the user with increased security and sign in options by providing an active directory fingerprint reader. Featuring a 385 DPI (Dots Per Inch) scanner, the FZ-VFP402W can read fingerprints stored on the FZ-40 itself or on an active directory. The xPAK FZ-VFP402W is compatible with both the Mark 1 and the Mark 2 TOUGHBOOK 40. As a user installable piece of hardware, the FZ-VFP402W is a great addition to an FZ-40 and includes all required drives to function properly and may be easily installed and removed or semi-permanently secured with the included security screw.
