Emissive Backlit Keyboards

With many different keyboard options available to Panasonic TOUGHBOOK users, the emissive backlit keyboard remains easily the most popular. While standard non-lit and membrane keyboards remain an option on some TOUGHBOOK models, the emissive keyboard is chosen by a wide majority of users as the easiest to use and with the most utility of the options. Panasonic TOUGHBOOK emissive backlit keyboards have chiclet style replaceable keys enabling easy typing with good tactile feedback. While the backlight can be dimmed or turned off on a TOUGHBOOK keyboard, the keys provide good haptic feedback to the user even when not lit. With a simple press, an operator can turn off the LCD as well as all notification lights and the emissive keyboard, thereby eliminating cabin lighting easily and quickly. Panasonic TOUGHBOOK Keyboard Models

All current Panasonic TOUGHBOOK models including the FZ-55, FZ-40, FZ-G2 and CF-33 have emissive backlit keyboard options. While still retaining brightness level settings, the CF-33 is the only TOUGHBOOK that has a set color on the keyboard (red) which is not user selectable. All other TOUGHBOOK models feature RGB color selectable backlit keyboards which can be pre-programmed to feature favorite color settings at the touch of a button. Able to be printed in a number of common languages each with unique and useful symbols, an emissive backlit keyboard can allow for a TOUGHBOOK to be perfectly customized to a user.
