Panasonic TOUGHBOOK 55 RAM
By default, the Panasonic TOUGHBOOK 55 semi-rugged laptop can come with a number of different RAM sizes and configurations. With options for 16GB, 32GB and 64GB of RAM from the Panasonic factory, the TOUGHBOOK 55 can accommodate numerous task and processing requirements. With Random Access Memory (RAM) being critical to the performance of a computer, an upgrade or repair of that system should be able to be performed by any TOUGHBOOK owner.
TOUGHBOOK 55 RAM Install Step by Step
In this video, PopTech LLC technicians show how to correctly remove and or replace the RAM in a semi-rugged Panasonic TOUGHBOOK 55 laptop.
Step 1: Place the TOUGHBOOK 55 in a clean, static free environment clear of debris and other materials that may interfere with internal components.
Step 2: Turn over the TOUGHBOOK 55 onto the top of the chassis and orient the handle away from the installer
Step 3: Remove TOUGHBOOK 55 RAM Access panel with philips head screwdriver
Step 4: Place the RAM chip with the correct orientation into the TOUGHBOOK 55 with the notch in the RAM aligning with the matching notch in the laptop.
Step 5: Insert the RAM chip into the receiving slot in the TOUGHBOOK 55.
Step 6: Press down with even pressure on both sides of the RAM chip until the retention clips secure it in place in the FZ-55
Step 7: Replace FZ-55 RAM panel and screw
